Sin embargo, este jueves 14 de enero, el éxito irradiado con gama alcanza un nuevo nivel cuando The Paley Center for Media hospeda en dos costas a las exclusivas primeras proyecciones de la película, junto a paneles con talentos del cómic y la animación, como también la entrega de ediciones limitadas y autógrafos de creadores.
Esponsoreado por la New York Comic Con y Newsarama.com en asociación con Marvel Animation y Lionsgate Home Entertainment, las proyecciones empezarán a las 6:30 PM hora local de Nueva York y Los Ángeles respectivamente con discusiones de panel y firma de autógrafos a las 8:30 PM.
Matt Striker de World Wrestling Entertainment, comentador colorista de Friday Night Smackdown, moderará un panel con el editor en jefe de Marvel Joe Quesada, editor de Hulk Mark Paniccia, el presidente de Marvel Animation Eric Rollman y el escritor de INCREDIBLE HULK Greg Pak, el arquitecto detrás de la historia original de "Planet Hulk".

Jeff Parker trae al robot Hulk Cósmico a la sartén con FALL OF THE HULKS: RED HULK #1.
La extendida familia de Bruce Banner verá el regreso de un miembro perdido hace tiempo en FALL OF THE HULKS: RED HULK #1 que sale el 27 de enero cuando el escritor Jeff Parker y el artista Carlos Rodrigues traen al robot cósmico Hulk de nuevo a las historias de cómics.
"El Hulk Cósmico tiene una tarea principal que será aclarada cuando empiece la acción" describe Parker del rol del robot en Fall of the Hulks. "Ahora responde a M.O.D.O.K. y el Líder".
Creado por el legendario Jack Kirby en las páginas del cásico ETERNALS #14 de 1977, el Hulk Cósmico ha caído en las manos de la Intelligencia, el grupo de malvados genios que intentan hacer la vida de los Hulks muy caótica.
 "Si leiste FALL OF THE HULKS: ALPHA, lo viste en la guarida antártica de los Eternos", recuerda Parker. "Fue una de las cosas que Intelligencia se llevo cuando estuvo allí. Ahora la clave es poder activarlo nuevamente".
Y según Parker, los Hulks no deberían desestimar a su doble robótico.
"La tendencia sería decir 'bueno, es sólo un robot, rompámosle'", dice el escritor. "Pero como verán en FALL OF THE HULKS: RED HULK #1 revelamos la naturaleza de este ser sintético y se vuelve obvio que es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo. Si te gustaron algunas de las revelaciones de la historia de Marvel que hicimos en ALPHA, te gustará lo que pasa con el Hulk Cósmico".
Más allá de reintroducir al robot Hulk Cósmico, RED HULK llegará más profundo en los planes del mastodonte de color rojo.
"Aquí es donde empezamos a subir la cortina y dejamos que los lectores vean lo que Rojo a tenido que enfrentar y más de lo que lo maneja", promete Parker. "No controla demasiado los eventos de los que ha conseguido información e intenta aprovecharse de ellos."
FALL OF THE HULKS: RED HULK también se referirá en más detalle a los eventos que sucedan en INCREDIBLE HULK y HULK en enero.
"Tendrá más sentido de las verdaderas dinámicas en juego y de los jugadores en el tablero, algo importante" dice Parker y de los personajes que se esperan ver. "¡A-Bomb! ¡Thundra! ¡Muchachos con cabezas muy, muy grandes!"
Pero con su nombre en el título, el Hulk Rojo manejará la serie y Parker dice que en una dirección no esperada por muchos.
"Cuando veas con quien [Rojo] se alía, te vas a convertir en Hulk. Quedará en claro que hará lo que sea para poder ganar."

Incredible Hulk #1 CGC 9.0 se vende por U$S 100.000Nov 25, 09
Publicado en Scoop:  (En inglés) Following last week’s record-breaking sale of a CGC-certified 9.2 copy of Incredible Hulk #1 at Heritage Auction Galleries for $125,475, Pedigree Comics has just reported another landmark transaction involving the jade giant’s first issue with a sale of a CGC-certified 9.0 copy for $100,000.
The sale was completed on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
Pedigree Comics President and CEO Doug Schmell negotiated the transaction between the seller and buyer and both sides "are extremely happy," he said.
“This is the nicest 9.0 copy I have ever seen (I've seen three of them) and actually rivals the Northland 9.2 copy I used to own in structure and appearance. This copy has off-white to white pages and is the glossiest Hulk #1 I've ever seen. Plus, it is perfectly centered, which was a major negotiating point in completing the sale,” he said.
“The buyer made the trip to my office to personally inspect the book and he was very pleased with the its overall appearance. After some back and forth phone calls to the consignor and haggling with the buyer, a price of $100,000 was agreed upon, far eclipsing the previous record for a Hulk #1 in 9.0 of $45,000 set in July, 2006, and just short of the overall record price for an Incredible Hulk #1 reached this past weekend at auction.”

Es el más fuerte de la Squad y el más simple con graves problemas por enojos. Cuando algo lo irrita, se convierte en una torre de furia, listo para aplastar a todo y a todos en su camino. Útil en las batallas pero no así cuando hay que lavar los platos. En esos casos, todos los miembros tendrán que calmarlo. También puede ser un toro en un local de vajilla china, caminando a través de puertas sin abrirlas (y hasta paredes). Sus enojos en el Helicarrier suelen finalizar con un hueco en la pared gruesa de la nave y una figura verde furiosa cayendo al suelo y alejándose a saltos.

La introducción muestra a Bruce Banner transformándose en Hulk. Los símbolos sobre los carretes fueron tomados de la película. Está el líquido verde que transforma a Banner en Hulk. Hay autos y helicópteros de la policía que son lo que más le gusta destruir a Hulk. Los símbolos de tarjetas de alto valor aparecen como una piedra ancha que también le gusta romper a Hulk. Y Hulk es el símbolo salvaje.
No hay música de fondo pero el otro audio se relaciona con la temática. Los colores que dominan la pantalla son el negro y el verde que van bien con la temática. La animación de la mayoría de los símbolos es mínima. Cuando forman combinaciones ganadoras un brillo verde aparece detrás de los símbolos. El símbolo de Hulk muestra una linda animación. La furia que siente Hulk es legendaria y se expresa en la animación de Hulk agrandando sus ojos y chocando sus dientes. Cuando el símbolo de Hulk se expande para cubrir uno o tres carretes, la animación es aún mejor.

En este foro lleno de entretenidas historias de seguidores de la Marvel, voy a escribir cada página del segundo capítulo La Garganta del Diablo como un cuento.

Esto me permite brindar más información de la que se puede transmitir con el dibujo y los diálogos de los personajes.

"Hulk! Are you alright?" shouts Dulce while the emerald giant can barely move on the ground.
Turning her attention to the strange visitor, Dulce demands "What have you done to him?!"
The beautiful super heroine pauses for a moment. She senses that there's no evil in the uncanny attacker. But the soft lines of her gorgeous face turn rigid again as she remembers the events of recent, and says:
"Hasn't there been enough death for a day! I won't let you kill the Hulk, whomever you may be!!"
The shining visitor finally turns his face to Dulce. The blue light of his glowing eyes, up to now emotionless, now transmit a bit of surprise.
Suddenly, time seems to stop. It is the visitor who resumes it by speaking for the first time: "My name is Segundo".
And the shining face now with a name continues "I cannot explain my actions now."
Raising his right hand and pointing it at Dulce, Segundo says "... And neither should I let you interfere with them"
But before Dulce can react, a large and dark Hulk figure raises behind Segundo... It's smash time.

la empresa Walt Disney anunció esta mañana su intención de comprar Marvel Entertainment por la suma de cuatro mil millones de dólares, una operación que agregaría el grupo de super héroes y villanos de Marvel a la biblioteca en expansión de propiedad intelectual de la Disney.
Aunque aún en las etapas iniciales del proyecto de adquisición, se conocen algunos detalles por ejemplo que los contratos existentes de licencia y distribución seguirán en pie por el momento (y presuntamente hasta que finalicen) y que John
Lasseter de Pixar se reunió con los ejecutivos creativos de Marvel.
Para ver la reacción de los escritores y artistas que han ayudado a hacer los cómics y Marvel en particular un espacio tan atrayente para que Disney se interese – CBR News habló con algunos creadores de cómics, que dijeron lo siguiente:

Dos cómics mensuales de Hulk desde agosto de 2009Aug 26, 09
 Desde el 26 de agosto de 2009, hay dos cómics mensuales de Hulk: Incredible Hulk (del escritor Greg Pak y el artista Ariel Olivetti) y Hulk (del escritor Jeph Loeb y el artista Ian Churchill).
Incredible Hulk es el principal cómic de Hulk y relata las historias de Bruce Banner (que no puede convertirse en Hulk por el momento) y su hijo Skaar, nacido en el planeta Sakaar durante la saga Planeta Hulk (de Pak).
Hulk es el cómic secundario del verdoso pero con historias sobre Rulk, el Hulk rojo.
La última vez que hubo dos cómics mensuales del más fuerte que existe fue hace una década (en 1999) cuando salían Incredible Hulk y The Rampaging Hulk Vol.2. Pero el cómic Rampaging sólo duró seis números.
Espero que esta vez haya dos cómics de Hulk por mucho tiempo. Al momento de escribir este artículo, está asegurado que "Hulk" saldrá al menos hasta noviembre de 2009. Visita la página de Próximos cómics para más detalles.

Cómics en movimiento de Marvel: Llamando a animadoresAug 26, 09
Publicado en Marvel News: Marvel se ha asociado con el estudio de animación virtual Aniboom para crear un torneo de cómics en movimiento con personajes como Lobezno, Hulk y Nova.
Por medio de esta asociación, los animadores registrados con la comunidad de Aniboom, que actualmente consiste de casi 8.000 animadores de nivel profesional, tendrán la oportunidad de crear cómics en movimiento únicos basados en historias de cómics con súper héroes famosos como Hulk, Lobezno y Nova.

La vista preliminar de seis páginas nos muestra a Bruce Banner en un tren (rumbo a Nueva York) quien defiende a un niño pegado por su abusivo padre. Aunque no puede convertirse en su alter ego Hulk cuando el corpulento padre lo empuja al suelo, Banner utiliza su extraordinaria inteligencia como defensa. Usando su computadora portátil, Banner accede al celular del hombre para obtener datos que pueden incriminarlo y amenaza con usarlos si vuelve a maltratar a su hijo.
Cuando Banner sale del subterráneo, un gran número de super héroes lo espera incluyendo a Sr. Fantástico Reed Richards, Capitán América (Bucky Barnes), el Hombre Araña y Lobezno.
El arte de Ariel Olivetti es hermoso, mezcla de realismo con proporciones musculares exageradas y un estilo de colores que recuerda a algunas pinturas clásicas.
Greg Pak es el escritor favorito de Hulk de los últimos tiempos y su nuevo paso por el libro le permitirá explorar aún más la relación entre Banner/Hulk y su hijo Skaar, creado por Pak al final de su aclamada saga Planeta Hulk.

Publicado en Noticiero Marvel:  Debutando en HULK #16 de octubre, la She-Hulk Roja empezará a destrozar el universo de Universe en una historia para no perderse.
Siempre estuvo en la mezcla", revela el escritor Jeph Loeb sobre la creación del personaje. "El éxito de la She-Hulk de Jen Walter-uno de mis personajes favoritos-abrió las puertas para hacer una contra. Pero no la creamos tan sólo por hacerlo. [El escritor de INCREDIBLE HULK] Greg Pak y yo trabajamos para que ella juegue un rol integral en lo que se viene. Quizás sea el personaje más importante de la saga que se viene [World War Hulks]."
Loeb no diría si los seguidores tendrán o no que esperar mucho para conocer la identidad secreta de la She-Hulk Roja pero cuando lo hagan, tendrá repercusiones importantes en la historia a gran plazo del libro HULK del escritor.
"Eso es decir algo", bromeó Loeb. "Pero, lo que sí puedo decir es que su origen es crítico para todo lo que hemos estado haciendo."
Tal como el Hulk Rojo ha dejado una marca duradera en el universo de Marvel, Loeb espera que el personaje femenino haga lo propio por un período largo.
"Hemos sido muy cuidadosos con la creación de este personaje", explica el escritor. "Queríamos asegurarnos de que no apareciera tontamente. La She-Hulk original fue un personaje muy diferente a Hulk, algo no visto anteriormente. Jen es un personaje maravilloso. Nuestra intención es que la She-Hulk Roja cause una impresión igualmente importante en el universo de Marvel.
"El Hulk Rojo podría haber sido un personaje que apareciera en unos pocos ejemplares como lo fue Harpy o el Hulk adolescente de Rick Jones,' [pero] el Rojo se ha mantenido. Esperamos que la She-Hulk Roja también se quede por un tiempo."
Acerca de cómo reaccionará el Hulk Rojo a esta última adición a la familia de seres gama, los seguidores tendrán que esperar y ver.
"Eso es parte de lo que se viene", dice Loeb. "La manera en la con Greg diseñamos todo, esperamos que cuando has descubierto lo que hemos estado haciendo y, más específicamente, lo que la She-Hulk Roja ha estado haciendo, te sorprenderás muchísimo."
Una vez más, Loeb promete a los seguidores que la nueva She-Hulk Roja estará "en el núcleo" de la historia y que sorprenderá a más de un lector.
"Es bastante salvaje en cierta forma. De lo mejor en lo que tendrá que hacer. Pienso en ella como el personaje de Kathleen Turner en 'Body Heat', Maddy Walker. Cuando piensas que la conoces es demasiado tarde. Ya estás muerto."

Publicado en Revista Wizard:  En su sección "Shop Talk", la revista Wizard informa que las ventas del cómic de Hulk (escrito por Jeph Loeb y dibujado por varios artistas) ha caído y porqué.
"Luego de un acalorado inicio lleno de comentarios y excitación sobre el nuevo y mejorado Hulk rojo, la serie se plagó de demoras y una historia que de excitante se volvió lenta lo que causó que las ventas hayan sufrido mucho."
Los vendedores de cómics entrevistados dicen que sus clientes han dejado el libro en altos porcentajes, algunos porque les molesta que no se haya revelado aún la identidad del Hulk rojo (se dijo que lo sería mucho antes), otros porque el libro sigue llegando tarde.
Además de lo que dice la revista, en varios foros se pueden encontrar los comentarios de muchos seguidores de Hulk desilucionados, enojados y hasta asqueados con el trabajo de Loeb al que pidieron que sustituyan por Greg Pak, cosa que sucede a partir de Incredible Hulk #601 (agosto de 2009).

Hulk smash puny Canadian mutant!
Bruce Banner's Gamma-irradiated alter ego has had his fair share of altercations with Wolverine. From the X-Man's first appearance to the events of World War Hulk, Marvel's most heroic monster has put Wolverine's unbreakable skeleton to the test time and time again.
Now, with the DVD and Blu-ray release of the animated "Hulk Vs" just a day away, bringing the Green Goliath against both Wolverine and Thor in a duo of all-new movies, we run down some of the greatest Hulk/Wolverine slugfests in Marvel history!
INCREDIBLE HULK #181 (1974)
Wolverine made his debut with this three-way slugfest between the Canucklehead, Hulk and the cannibalistic Wendigo! Working for the Canadian government at the time, Wolvie goes berserker on the Hulkster after he manages to slice and dice the Wendigo. Managing to hold his own, Wolverine puts the Hulk's patience—or lack thereof—to the test, until the monstrous behemoth manages to land one doozy of a punch which succeeds in knocking Logan out, making the Hulk the winner in this pair's first dust up!
INCREDIBLE HULK #340 (1988)
After catching a familiar scent, Wolverine ditches his fellow X-Men and comes up against the Hulk once again. Reminded of their previous encounter, the now-grey mammoth doesn't give Logan a chance to get a word in as he preemptively launches into a full scale beat down. However, also having learned his lesson, Wolvie gives no quarter as he guts the Hulk and leaves him for dead. Unfortunately, the Hulk's advanced healing system has him up on his feet again in no time and the battle continues until S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Alan Quartermain puts a stop to their rampage.
INCREDIBLE HULK #454 (1997)
Hulk has set up camp in the Savage Land, but when Wolverine and Ka-Zar come knocking on his proverbial door, he gets a little upset. And when Hulk gets upset, he starts punching things. When Wolverine slashes at the Jade Giant's throat, the Hulk is relieved to discover his mutant opponent has lost the adamantium covering his skeleton, leaving him with bone claws incapable of breaking through Gamma-irradiated skin. Though he manages to get his hands around the X-Man's neck, a stampeding T-Rex breaks up the fight and the Hulk mysteriously collapses before it can resume.
WOLVERINE/HULK #1-4 (2002)
A girl's ghost asks Wolverine to help her get "Uncle Bruce's" help in finding her father, but unfortunately for Logan, Uncle Bruce's last name just happens to be Banner. While the Hulk pummels him, the girl makes Wolverine promise not to hurt his agitator. Luckily for him, their one-sided battle causes a massive avalanche which smothers Hulk and renders him unconscious. But even with an advanced mutant healing factor, Wolverine had his share of aches and pains the next morning!
WORLD WAR HULK: X-MEN #2 (2007)
Recently returned to Earth looking to make the Illuminati pay for rocketing him off to the nether regions of space, one of the first people Hulk stops to visit happens to be Charles Xavier, leader of the X-Men. Wolverine joins his teammates in defending the Professor, and in one of the quickest Hulk/Wolverine battles on the record books the Hulk lands a punishing series of blows directly to Wovie's head, shaking his brain around in his unbreakable, adamantium-laced skull. Here's hoping that healing factor applies to brain cells, as well!

Hulk Strong in Collecting MarketOct 18, 08
Publicado en Heritage Auctions:  Despite negativity in the current American economic system, the collecting market for comics of good quality remains hot. Heritage Auctions has had two straight weeks of big sales, proving that the collectibles market is not only solid, but also growing.
Many of the key books Heritage has sold have set records for their grades, exceeding most expectations. In the October 5 Internet Sunday auction, a copy of (The Incredible) Hulk #1 (1962) smashed expectations when a CGC 2.5 copy sold for $1,673.
The Sunday, October 12, 2008 auction marked one of the most successful weekly sales Heritage has had, with a total of more than $127,000. Top lots in the Internet auction included X-Men #1, Justice League #1, and again Daredevil and Hulk #1s. All of these books garnered GP Analysis high prices for their respective grades.

Publicado en Marvel News: From the outset, it should be noted that the majority of this report is
based on naturalistic observation of the behemoth creature known as the
Hulk. As such, any opinions or diagnoses presented should be taken with
some skepticism as for most of the creature's existence, personal
interviews and/or sessions were not a possibility or were rejected by
it.
The Hulk is a humanoid of immense size. His skin tone has fluctuated,
over the years, between green and grey. Reports of a red hued Hulk are
being ignored for the sake of this report as a colleague, Dr. Leonard
Sampson, reports that the green/grey Hulk and the red Hulk are not one
and the same. The writer defers to Dr. Sampson in this area as he is
considered to be the leading expert on the Hulk, with the exception of
Dr. Bruce Banner.
In
addition to his varying skin color, the client has also exhibited a
wide range of dress and personal hygiene. In early sessions, it favored
little by way of grooming and was most often dressed in a seemingly
endless supply of purple pants. Upon resuming the grey skin tone it
initially possessed, the Hulk began to favor finer clothes, such as
tailored suits. Eventually, the Hulk once more returned to green. This
time, however, he seemed to be more aware of himself and, while not
embracing the fashion forward stylings of his grey side, he was
significantly more likely to wear appropriate amounts of clothing in
the proper size. There were noted fluctuations with this until the Hulk
disappeared for several weeks. Upon the client's return, during the
invasion of New York that has been dubbed "World War Hulk," it favored
armor and tribal style dressings.

#1 will delve into the back stories of several of the regular series'
supporting cast members, courtesy of writer Greg Pak with artwork by
Timothy Green II, Gabriel Hardman, Carlo Pagulayan and the legendary
Tim Truman.
According to Pak, the special one-shot fits seamlessly into Skaar's
ongoing series, picking up where the previous issue left off.
"There's a main story that follows the Son of Hulk, Princess Omaka, and
the other refugees as they make their way towards Prophet Rock, where
the mysterious stranger known as Old Sam says he'll help Skaar achieve
his true potential for massive power," Pak explains.
"Of course, this comes after Skaar has already smashed the barbarian
leader Axeman Bone, survived the fire of the dragons of Fillia, and
nearly dismembered the refugees' Hero Protector, Princess Omaka. Which
begs the question—just what the heck are these fools thinking?
"Then there are several other stories woven throughout
the book that reveal previously untold tales that shed new light on our
principal characters as they all struggle with just how smart it is to
be seeking so much additional power for an insanely savage manchild
like Skaar."
As Pak has hinted in the past, some of those characters have a few
surprising ties to players we've seen before in the pages of "Planet
Hulk," and he promises that at least one of those connections will
reveal itself in this one-shot.
"Absodarnlutely," Pak confirms. "In particular, look for one of Skaar's
closest relatives to appear in a surprise story from the past of
Princess Omaka."

SDCC '08: Hulk VS Wolverine Panel ReportJul 28, 08
Publicado en Marvel News:  At Comic-Con International this past weekend, Marvel held the world
premiere of its latest animated feature, "Hulk VS Wolverine." The
movie, one-half of the "Hulk VS" DVD out next January—the other half,
"Hulk VS Thor," was not shown at the panel—delivered the goods,
beginning with a brutal confrontation between Wolverine and the Hulk.
From there the film began to focus largely on Logan and his mysterious
past. Flashbacks retold his origins at Weapon X, adapting portions of
Barry Windsor-Smith's original "Weapon X" story, while in the present
day the Canucklehead found himself and the good Dr. Banner captured by
some of the program's other agents, Omega Red, Sabretooth, Lady
Deathstrike, and a very talkative Deadpool.
In attendance were the film's co-writer and supervising producer, Craig
Kyle; producer and supervising director Frank Paur; co-writer Chris
Yost; and Fred Tatasciore, the man responsible for bringing the Hulk's
distinctive personality to life on the screen.
Kyle explained that the DVD format "allows us to get away with a lot.
This is the place we love to be because they don't watch us too
closely," going on to say that most people expect animated films
released in theaters to be much more kid-friendly than the movies they
want to produce.

100 Variant Covers for Hulk #1Jul 3, 08
 
100 blank-covered cardstock copies of the new HULK #1 comic book were donated by Marvel Comics to
the Hero Initiative for a Hulk-centric "Ultimate 100".
Artists involved include well-known Incredible Hulk vets such as Sal Buscema, Mike
Deodato Jr., Ron Garney, Ed McGuinness, Don Perlin, Herb Trimpe, Ron
Wilson, and more. In addition, Marvel Comics superstars such as J. Scott
Campbell, John Cassaday, Frank Cho, David Finch, Joe Quesada and John
Romita Sr. have stepped up to add their own take on ol' Greenskin.
All 100 HULK #1 covers were on display for the first and only time at a
gala "Green Room" event on Thursday night, June 26 during Wizard World
Chicago.

Artist Michael Turner Has Passed AwayJun 29, 08
 Comic book artist Michael Turner has passed away on Friday June 27, 2008, at the age of 37, after a long battle against cancer.
Michael, a talented and beloved artist, is most known for being the co-creator and long time penciler of Witchblade. He was also the creator of Fathom and Soulfire for his Aspen MLT Inc Comics and drew almost every major character for the top comic book companies, this work included pinups and covers picturing the Incredible Hulk.
I met him at the 2002 Pittsburgh Comicon. Michael was always with a smile on his face, and eager to hear what fans told him, signing covers and taking pictures with them. He was full of life, a nice guy. He had already been diagnosed with cancer at that time.
May you rest in peace, Michael.

Hulk Movie Rakes at Box OfficeJun 16, 08

Hulk's weekend box office take matched his gamma irradiated skin—very, very green—with $54.5 million in sales!
Globally, the film pulled in a Hulk-sized $31 million in box office receipts for an $85.5 million worldwide tally!
